I don't know what "hash collisions" mean, but to my knowledge, they don't seem to have any noticeable effects on any of the weapons that use either of those models, though I might be missing something.

It means that the resource loading system is less than ideal, and assumes that hash collisions are impossible (despite the pigeonhole principle). The names "gnhhowtar.pie" and "gnhhowtbb.pie" are similar, so if you try to use one file, it might use the other. I'd expect one of the weapons to be using the model from the other weapon, if getting that error. Don't know which part of the model is, maybe it's the turret base (which might look similar), not the turret, no idea.

jus' a bug rep:

when using contingency in RC2 with Nullbot it crashes at the start. When using with Nexus, it crashes after few mins of gameplay, I believe some nexus actions make it crash.

Some maps which previously worked with contingency, don't work on the RC2, they show a code with that problem.

if I can get some new help, I'll post it here.

News on the bug reporting...

It seems that RC2 has a problem with Nullbot only, without Contingency, it crashes at the start. With Nullbot&Co it doesn't crashes in Contingency mod, but in normal game it crashes.

Nexus AI crashes with both modes when loading a non-vanilla map. So I suppose its a RC2 problem...

RC2 doesn't have any problems with nullbot, post your crash dump please, together with the "non-vanilla map" you are talking about (preferably in the nullbot thread if the contingency mod is actually not related).

I am having a problem with Contingency and Nullbot together. The game plays normally upto a point when the screen goes black and I have to launch task manager to see the message Warzone 2100 has crashed.Attached is rpt file and latest wzlog.

ADMIRALLORDHOOD: you aren't loading the correct nullbot mod. You need to use a version of nullbot designed specially for contingency, see the first post.

How do I compile this? :stressed:
It says nullbot-1-38-contingency.wz but it I download it it's nullbot-1-38-contingency.zip? :augh:

Anything else ;)

Firefox has the most plugins and very good security, Chrome is the fastest in most areas, Opera is pretty nice, too.

I already tried them and Firefox has the best security and as you said lots of plugins, so I am now using Firefox Aurora!

hi guys been away from the party for a while but recently got back into the game. was looking to see if anyone had made a replacement campaign yet and came across this mod instead.

wanted to ask the creator a question about balance....

You got a problem with turtles? =p

im finding it almost impossible to turtle in this mod. all the shiney new twin machine gun towers and the like are great eye candy but utterly useless for stopping early rushes.

ive tried hardpoint/bunkers/towers/mg's/twin mg's and cannons...im normally destroyed before i get much further.

Conversly before anyone thinks im just not that good =p

I think vehicles are way OP early game. i have played several maps FFA vs several nullbots on hard (triple tank icon, not nuke icon)and i wipe everyone off the map before i even get a good look at the new tech tree.

it would be nice to turtle please. i actually like being an introverted nation focusing on internal development with the occasional expidition force to find an oil base or two and defending from hostile survivors of this post nasda world ;)
