Rebalancing Mod v20070826
Posted: 26 Aug 2007, 22:51
Aims
When playing over and over again you notice that some weapons are just more or less useless or are "very very very special purpose"-weapons while others are just weak and won't harm anything (Assault Cannon ;X).
So the mod aims at creating a balance in the game so every weapon is useful. The difference between AT- and AP-weapons should be more noticeable.. so don't try to kill two Lancer-Cyborgs with a Lancer-Cobra-Tracks.
Further information
The zip-archive contains two detailed readmes, one in English and one in German. The readme-files are in HTML-format and have two CSS-files (style-files), one for screen and one for print, so you can easily print the whole readme from within your browser. The print-style-sheet removes all colours and replaces them with symbols so even people with BW-printers can print the readme.
I strongly recommend to read the readme, at least the first part which is not about all the changes I applied to the game. I stopped counting, but there should be some 250 changes to original values.
Get the mod! But where?

This is the second published version of my Rebalancing-Mod. It works with 2.0.7 and I do not plan to publish a trunk-version of it. The mod is published under the GPLv2.
