Once the gateway is set, there is no way, only gate ;) I will use the occasion and I will ask.. Can I set buildings on gateways on a map? Or there will be a sort of clush? I mean there is a 4 in a row tiles gateway, can I place on it 4 machine gun guard towers?

the timing doesn't happen like that... At least one of the center player need to cover the oil on his side. As soon as he move toward his base to cross the map on the other side, the opposing force should move forward. In such a way that, as soon as he will quit his base, there will be units in it. A long time before he reach his friends on the other side.

So I'll stick with my analysis for now : as long as there is not 21 tiles frontier or less, the best is to spread the oil evenly.

5 player map.... what else is there to say.... not that i am going to continue to make maps at this rate, but new tilemaps would be nice...

dear tmp, i noticed in your maps you put part of oil resources in inaccesible places.. i mean you put oil in locations where only player who know map can find them.. may be you can mark oil resources with textures or by some another way..

dear reg, some player cant split their units and shoot off a derrick in a lonely place. i know. but they will never learn it if no such map exists. but i slapped some textures on to the ramps so they might be wise enough to guess that you also can look at the edges of my maps for some derricks.

If you would play the Beta you can see all the oil resources on the map at the start, also if there is something like a valley leading to nowhere, 9/10 there is an oil there. So its kinda hard not to find them.
