AFAIK current uncompressed sequence are coming from pc version. since i want to try rip (remux?) it and hope i could get a better quality but still not sure which one is better. and does rpl2avi made 100% uncompressed video and audio?.
any ideas?

IMHO psx quality worse.

& btw, I dont remember exactly, but there are not all video sequences that PC version has.

I mean few files are missing in psx version - means- dont exist

Well, even it you do remux from the uncompressed vids, the issue is still going to be the same, the vids are just too low resolution to work from.

Most people say there is barley any difference between 'standard' and the 'higher quality' ones that you did.

Exactly, especially on HD displays...

at some point it may take the video's to be redone using the updated models the game is getting.

though the only real difference i can remember is that the uk psx version has voicing for the collective that sounded more machine/borg-like then that of the current one.
