HP of a game object

Hi,

How is the HP of a game object worked out?

For example, a droid I think the HP is based on it's components (propulsion, body, turrets) with relevant upgrades applied?

And a structure is based on stattype currently, with building material (of not base defence) or wall (if defence) upgrades applied? I'm not sure if things like modules also add to the HP?

According to Reg12, it's explained in his comments here http://guide.wz2100.net/formulas

Thanks, however...

unitHP = (bodyHP + bodyHP * propulsion_modifier + weaponHP) * upgrade modifier

Why is upgrade modifier in that equation? I thought kinetic/thermal armour upgrades would increase damage resistance to kinetic/thermal weapons, not affect the unit HP?

We don't have a specific kinetic armor upgrade. Alloys upgrade increases both HP and kinetic armor.

Is the HP visible after 'bdy' when using the droidinfo cheat? If so, I'm confused, because I've got a viper wheels machinegun with a 758 body, and I don't see how that occurs from that formula. (Or else, I'm just looking at the wrong bit?)

Anyway, TIA!
