Credits screen

After reading about credits in Wiki in this topic I've decided to revive old idea, "classic" rolling (scrolling) credits screen in game.
Detailed, like in movies and some other games (and some other applications).
Shown after finishing campaign and available through menu entry.
It don't need to supersede current one, but would be nice addition.
It would be best if it would also contain some details about original authors of retail version (if that is somewhere preserved...).
Also it should have own music track and maybe some small GFX effects.
White (bright) text on black background, with maybe gradient on top and bottom (to make fade in / out like effect for text) and models blueprints showing from time to time in empty space on sides.

What do you think about that?

My friend would like to create it as demo, but needs some model files (preferably .blend ones) to put them as random blueprints.
For text he would use that list from wiki, probably in loop, as it is short now.
We could put there also translators and such, to make it long enough.
Then recreate (using script) when list changes, maybe adjusting speed to length of short, looped track created especially for it (I have in mind possible compositor to create it).

It's a nice idea, however I think there's more important stuff to do with the UI - like allowing it to be customised with scripts, etc.

Maybe an interim measure could be to set up a http://wz2100.net/credits URL and show that URL on the credits screen. The URL would redirect to the credits page on the wiki.

aubergine, this requires only registering new sequence.
This will be OGV file, like other ones.
Also, this would be new contributor, if accepted.
