Well it is good I have spotted this sentence because when I started reading your post I got really angry. Although I think due to gentlemen's play it would be appropriate if you have asked me if you may use legend that I was creating for some time with over a year experience. And that you are not going to change anything in it. I think the sentence is some sort of asking of justify, but at the same time I still have mixed feelings. I think still quotation is needed here.(Thanks Merowingg for your legend, it's more pratical.

?02.12.2010 - a date when the map was posted on this thread. To see the newest map in any of 2, 4, 8 players map section it will be always the map at the very bottom of particular section
15 oils - a number of oils per player
Symetric - when Symmetric is written next to the map's link it means the maps pattern is symetric (lack of this word means the map is Asymmetric
A - the letter A means the map includes advanced bases
S - the letter S means that the scavengers are available on the map
Arizona, Rocky, Urban - when Arizona, Rocky, or Urban is written next to the map's link it indicates the terrain type of the map
HV - when the letters HV are written next to the map's link it means the enemy/ally can be reached only by hovers or vrols. Those are so called islands or water maps on which players are divided from themselvs by water in various ways

Sorry Merowingg that I didn't ask you whether you allow me to use your legend... 
I just changed the 2 first legends a bit so don't know whether I have to put them in quote.
I think that's better to have same legends for maps showcase when we make lot of maps. But I apologize for my fault that I did to you. I'm going to add quote.

Unfortunatelly I don't know the answer to your first question.
Speaking about your maps, well those are quite good, I feel word "inspiring" fits here inspiring at least for me
What wonders me is did you make them just recently or have you created them earlier and posted all of them right now ?
I will observe your work and tell something more with time for sure, but now I am in a sort of rush..
