You mean you waste your video bitrate by putting scanlines into the videos themselves? Guess I have to revive http://developer.wz2100.net/ticket/2095.

And why stretch 4:3 videos to 16:9?

I always liked the scanlines in 1.10. We should add them back. I notice the main reason that patch wasn't committed was because of the subtitle thing? Shouldn't the subtitles have a dark background to compensate for that?

Just tested HD FMV in 2.3.8 - Looks great as for quality. may be its my PC but its a bit slows. I remember I've seen badcomapny 2 HD video in ogg format & it was slow too. Does ogg threora can handle HD videos ?

I didn't notice speed problems in 2.3 (just master, but that's because of subtitles, its text rendering is #*&%ing slow), on a 3 GHz system though.

I only tested intro and campaign 1 videos before upload and they're working fine in my laptop, as far as i know ogg should support high resolution video since it's going to be used for html5 <video> tag. If you want me test specific mission please send me save file :).

Now i'm uploading 720p version, due to exam nearly come i don't have much time to do it, sorry if it was bit late.Tested 720p and it was laggy on T6500 2.1Ghz cpu but if i play it using WMP or else it works fine and using low cpu. probably in-game codec that need some updates, not sure if it will fix Terminator problem
Warzone use
libvorbis-1.2.0
libogg-1.1.3
libtheora-1.0
Newest from xiph
libvorbis 1.3.2
libogg 1.2.2
libtheora 1.1.1
The only problem i have left is:
[*] Why i don't see any difference when using scanlines, is it really my eye which can't see difference or scanlines does not working with my videos :(

Scanlines only work when the video is shown at least twice its height, and isn't higher then 512 pixels.
