One more thing. I wonder if we already are at the point when we need early scouts. If the opponent has seen the proxy base earlier, he could have had a better chance of countering it.

And yes, it was an amazing fail for me.. I wasn't aggressive enough with mg before I could get rockets into full-swing.. a common problem for me on that map.

Come on ...
3 solutions to this:
1. Delete the map.
2. Unpack the map, delete the mod, pack it back.
3. Use v2.3.8 or master.

P.S. I thought it was because there was some friend/foe colors button enabled

i wish i could watch the videos but i cant - anyone else got the problem? Newest flash player, neither IE, nor FF work - i am in germany... ideas?

I usualy sent 3rd truck to do this, but ppl were faster and made half base on mid. I kinda changed plan..I had no idea of main weapon, but 9 mins was culmination. Enjoy amazing 1 min no bases build!

I may not be as experienced in online play as many of you guys are, but dang, that looked like a pretty sweet high risk, high reward strategy, rushing your starting trucks to the middle and blocking off your opponent's access to the middle like that. Right now, I'd compare the amount of risk/reward involved to MCV rushing in C&C3, or ACU rushing in Supreme Commander 2. (I mean, what's to stop the opponent from likewise sending their own starting trucks to the middle?)

@Shadow Wolf: Keep in mind that his victory was mostly because of my failures. I had sat in my base until mini pod was researched, knowing that their new range would surprise him. I thought that I would quickly recapture the oil outside my base, however, in the end I was simply over confident. Rushing to capture oil is No.1 in low/standard oil games. You should always be giving some resistance even if you haven't researched the tech you want to use.
