Actually if that where the case I would have felt very tempted to start a flamewar directed at the censorer.DevUrandom wrote: From your talk now it seems as if some gay coming out was censored...

Damn, seems like I f* up...lav_coyote25 wrote: ok then ... maybe we should invite back all those others who would more than likely love the chance to speak about kittens etc.... you asked me to be a moderator. i acted in such a capacity. so all you have to do now is tell me to f**k off and die and i will be out of here.
i dont care what you are - just dont force me and others to read your crap... ie: bumm luv . ok?
discrimination isnt what i am doing. would you please read the damn rules of this and all other forums...
I actually thought whether a ";)" would be necessary to show that this is not meant seriously. From your talk now it seems as if some gay coming out was censored...
Did he really feel offended by it or was he to trying to be funny ? :dDevUrandom wrote: It seems as if it looked as if lav_coyote25 was accused of anything... This was not the case.
We all just tried to be funny in our own ways and failed at it, it seems.
Maybe we should found the club-of-retard-comedians.![]()
lav_coyote25 I said this:lav_coyote25 wrote: apologies if i sounded a bit harsh... but i was accused by others one time a long time ago... and resulted in a huge flame war that pretty much soured me on irc untill warzone irc came along... innocent comments can become like the Olympus mons on mars in size real quick. which is why i did what i did. no censorship involved. ;D
And considering that I did _not_ start a flamewar towards you. I basically am trying to say that I think your action (i.e. erasing the text from the posts) is justified.Giel wrote: Actually if that where the case I would have felt very tempted to start a flamewar directed at the censorer.
With this I'm trying to state what my definition of "unwanted discrimination" constitutes. E.g. wanted discrimination is discrimination of sounds.Giel wrote: I hate discrimination on grounds of religion, origin, sexual preference, etc. I don't mind people discriminating corpses by neglecting to talk to them though.
This is a random guess by me why _you_ think removing the text is justified.Giel wrote: As for what was being censored I think lav_coyote25 thought it might be (mis)interpreted as sexual intimidation or something in that direction.
