I have a working .pie file now, but the turret placement is still wrong (although it works ingame).

This model is very big, so it could have much more details, well NM details. It doesn't look as very hi-tech transport, especially compare with original model. Yes, your model has more polys but it still looks like a nowadays aircraft. :)

Hmm you are right it could look more sci-fi, I just didn't really know what details to put on it. I might still do a revision on it if i get some good ideas. I didn't really find any good references and I didn't want to put stuff like pipes or electronics/wiring on the surface either (what engineer in their right mind would do that kind of stuff anyway?).

jorzi - i dunno what the heck people been smoking lately but your models are awesome as is. who the hell knows what things will look like in the future?? for example - go back the any of the worlds fairs, starting with the 1930's... things didnt go as they envisioned, aircraft especially have not followed the visions of the scifi people. so , as i said, show me the crystal ball that shows what future developments will be, and i will stfu, ok? :annoyed: :lol2:

Don't worry, you may see mangust's critique as harsh, but it's only because we speak pretty straight about these things ;)
We are also by no means trying to predict the actual future :P When mangust talks about hi-tech, he is talking about the amount of gadgets it has, not the actual technological level, right mangust?
