my game keeps mistaking letters for #'s what do i do?

In chat you mean?

yeah like that only it's not limited to chat, im talking about anything that requires typing in wz. the only way i can type in legible letters is if i hold the ALT key down and type.

Reset your keymap. Click on the trashcan icon.

i did that, still wont work. and so far the only way to fix it in my view is to reinstall it... again.
and even that didnt work...

On my other thread i put down that im having keyboard problems, my problem is this: every time i try to type something on warzone, say on the regular qwerty keyboard, the only thing that comes out is 0-9, when you hit a key ten times a*10 it scrolls through the #'s. any suggestions? Buginator, anyone?

Don't create new topics for the same issue.

Do --debug input and let me see your logs after you type some stuff on your keyboard.

Tell me what you are typing, like "This is a test 1234567890" "Esc" "ctrl-t" ... like so.

Speaking of 'Other problems' Any idea where the Skirmish mode for this game is, its not on the menu, is there even a Skirmish mode?

one thing that comes to mind.... if it is a laptop you are using turn off num-lock

i try that, all it does is it allows me to rotate my current screen and i still get the #'s 0-9 every time i hit a key.

i cant really understand what the logs says... i mostly play skirmish due to the fact that i cant really "speak" on/in multiplayer.

Huh ? This is only in mp ? What about skirmish / campaign games ?

no, it does the 0-9 thing for all typing requirements on warzone... reguardless

oh... right hold on

oh and about that creating a new thread for each problem thing, sorry. i was still relatively new at the time.

and here we are say two months later and my problems are gone, no more of that cursed 0-9 thing. Mr_E is Back!
