This is a story of someone who clicked a button to send a newsletter to 50,000 users. Nothing happened, so he clicked it again. And again. He was billed for 150,000 e-mails, and 90% of the users unsubscribed because of the spam.
That is why we
always give feedback when you click on something. Because we want you to
know that it worked, because a bad UI is a UI in which you can't tell whether or not you clicked on something.
