For the mac users: you can find a mac build here:
http://hiramvp.homeip.net/wzbuilds/warz ... .5_rc2.dmg
md5 = 7a27fb8fd0bc3aca06761641a261fe95
not tested, built with 10.5 sdk so might not work on Tiger or PPC macs

Sure. Just saying that if you want to do testing for 2.3, test 2.3.
How can i test anything that's not released yet? (I mean, what's the svn command for getting somethin that is planned to be 2.3.5_rc3 to test it?)
P.S. I couldn't reproduce any problems with flak cannon, it works for me and seems to be OP

Good question
EDIT: I'm kind of confused too, because there's the 2.3 SVN branch, and the 2.3.5RC2. Is it like we test 2.3.5RC2 and all changes are added to 2.3 SVN branch?

Thanks, I've already checked out the SVN 2.3 branch, but that wasn't really what I was looking for.
EDIT: Nevermind, I think we're supposed to test with 2.3.5RC2 until 2.3.5RC3 comes out, and I'm sure the fixes will find their way into 2.3.5 final release.
@hao , you can svn check out,
https://warzone2100.svn.sourceforge.net ... /2.3.5_rc2
Or just use the builds/tarballs already available.

At the moment, there's not much difference between 2.3.5rc2 and the 2.3 branch, so rc2 is ok. But generally, branches/2.3 is where stuff for the next 2.3 release goes.

I sure do hate to say it, but whatever killed the lag in 2.3.5rc1 seems to be back in 2.3.5rc2., nothing changed with my pc and everyone has good pings 200 or lower.

Maybe you just had a lucky day with rc1? I don't think we changed anything sync-related.

Nothing with that part of the code was touched.
For the ping times, 200 isn't really 200 in the normal sense of specifying a ping time.
What I mean by that is, if you type ping [IP#] (on the command line/shell) you will not get anywhere close to what you see with Warzone's ping time. We throttle the pings, so the numbers don't correlate.
The 'traffic light' are showing 'green' when it should be 'yellow', but I am not sure of the correct threshold yet.

I've discovered the problem. Researching Whirlwind will make Flak Cannon obsolete, so it wouldn't appear in the tech tree. This has been changed.

Btw guys / gals, a new build will appear within 5-6 hours.
Fixed a glitch with the client side code.
