'Course not; go ahead. Seems it'd be easier just to tell them to find me on IRC, though.

Maps :)

Post by Merowingg »

Thanx WarTux for your post :)

And I was told many times about 6 to 8 oil in base for the start :) And I am glad you understand my high oil preferences :)

I dont understand you about map previevs, all maps have it except the last one, but it is the matter of time :)

And indeed I have to make my maps more complex :) I have noticed it already :) but I want to give a fresh look on maps too :)

Some of my maps are more less complex but I know exactly what do you mean by more complex :) they can be far more demanding :)

Thank you for suggestions :)

Bye :)

Maps :)

Post by Merowingg »

Thank you TEX for your post :)

I am happy that you like the maps that you have already played :) and I hope we will play the new ones together soon :) as you have said in old times :) for which i have big sentiment.. Thank you for comment my friend :)

I see that you approve the low oil politics too :) I am under so big pressure from others that I might soon break :)

Honestly I was thinking about making low oil version of all my maps.. and maybe four player, but arent they too big for that ??.. those two ideas are now on my mind but I am not sure what to do..

!!!

Gentlemen I am also worried by one fact.. the oldest maps are downloaded many times while the more newest ones the less downloads are visible.. there might be two reasons.. I do not take into account the fact that old ones are longer so more pople see them, and newer had less time to be spoted, I observed it for longer time.. so..

1) All of you have tried my maps and you dont like them.. so you stopped downloading them.. becuse you dint like first ones, or..

2) You are not aware that there is 15 maps already to download.. and you only read comments unaware of the number of the maps available..

so plese I want you all to know that

!!!

I always put links to all of my new maps in the first post on my forum topic here so you can easily locate it

!!!

New maps will be created so keep on checking :)

!!!

And I am all the time willing to hear critics, opinion, or just hello ;) I want to improwe :) so please help me :)

Bye all :)

Have great victories :) and fights of your life :)

Cya :)

Freedback

Post by Wibble199 »

I love all you maps, Merowingg! :D I always download them because of the high oil (those are the only ones i like)
The only thing I think about them not being the best of the best is, if you made the terrain a bit rougher and added more variation to the textures!

Alright, but I hope that you'll give equal time for practice on both high and low oil maps. :)

P.S. I like your new avatar :3

Thank you Wibble for your comment :) finally you have said something more than that you only wish the maps to be high oil :) and I agree that as you were told you have to train yourself on middle and low oil too :) Thank you for reminding me on varying the terrarian and making the tiles more various, i have noticed it might be my Ahilles heel..

NEXUS :) Matt :)) Thanx for typing :) I will try to make middle oil soon :) and I am looking forward for game with you and TEX as in old times..

j0shdrunk0nwar thank you for typing and encouraging Wibble to train and play any map :) and good you have appeared on IRC :))

Go to "key mapping" in the options menu and click on that "trash can". it sets key mapping to default i think. let us know if that fixed your problem. :hmm:
