Nice idea) I think it would be better to make a map smaller, so the Artillery of one ship could reach another)

Yano :) I am happy that you like it :thank_you: It is just the beginning :3

noname1208 :) thanx! But why once in a while?

TEXanian :) Are you asking me ;) I am not sure of what kind is the message that it is in my style map :hmm: I already think of drawbacks that happen to my maps. As for playing just name the date! And I am not goin to stop :augh:

RBMW-Collector :) thank you. Well I can make the map smallet but then I think I will simply remove the island beyond the ships. And the name will be a little bit different as V2 will not fit the characters limit, and it is not necessarily second version of a map in terms of improvement of something bad ;) I made the map so big to make players feel the overwhelming sea, and limited area of their ships.

Thank you very much for your support Gentlemen, as if I have made "few" maps does not mean I do not need being told of what you fill. On the contrary now I need support even more.

Regards,

You, Mr. Merowingg, make very interesting maps. At first, i saw nothing "amazing" till i found your Battleship map, so i played it to give it a shot. It has to be the most interesting and classic map i have ever seen, very well made (makes you feel your commanding a naval force).

Hello Vike13 :)

I have to admit that I am a little bit torn apart by your post :hmm: I am of course very happy to hear that you like the Battle Ships map, but did you look at the first post here in this thread? There you can easlily navigate through the maps. I type it because it seems for me that you were clicking the cards pack one by one till getting bored. Or you do need to seek for some good naval computer games ;) And in Warzone "standards" I dare to say it is not a classic map at all :hmm:

Again thank you, have a good games :)

@Merowingg

Looking back at my post, I didn't even know what the heck i met :| , so let me straighten it up:

Going through all of the maps, they all looked good, but nothing "mind-blowing" till i ran into Battleship. Just because a lot of maps (though yours tends to break this idea) are just battle maps, where yours tends to be: "hey, if your going to play a skirmish, might as well have a good setting to battle in".

Just the setting blew my mind :D

(Just played the Dam and Bridges, both just as good as Battleship)

That's an ultimatum !
The one thing , that is happening to your maps is that they are getting better and better )
Actually,i dont know when we can play , really.
Nowadays,University beats the soul out of me...So, i have absolutely no time for games.
But still ... i already feel like going back to WZ.But for now ... i cant.
Someday that day will definitely come !

Vike13 now I understand :)

You have to be aware that majority here likes "typical" warzone environment maps. It is me with my creativity who decided to lead FlaMe into some new dimension. Some people like it, majority dont ;) But still I use it as I love it. And I evolved from the "typical" environtmen, and it is Warzone itself. So I do appreciate it, and always remember about it.

Dam, and Bridges are both different than typical Warzone maps. I like them very much too. It makes me feel that you do like unusual maps most of all :)

TEXanian :) I do understand your lack of time caised by the university. If you happen to have free time, I believe you will still chose "the other" game ;) But I am happy to hear those words.

I have just recalled where from your nick originated from :3

Good to see you dropping by :)

I think 'unusual' maps are the best :3

Slartifartbarstud very nice of you :) thank you :3

I also want to say that I do see the long time since the last map was uploaded but I am really busy recently and how I will manage now will give me much more free time in about month time. Meanwhile maybe I will change Battle Ships as requested just to FeelFlame for a moment. But who knows so many times I wanted just to run it, so maybe aout of the blue something will appear but I doubt :(

Re: Merowingg's Maps

Hello Gentlemen :)

I was asked here and also via PM message to bring the ships closer to each other so artillery from both ships could shot at each other. So here are the Ships without the island.

I think there is no need to explain why the map has this particular name :lecture:

The map is for 4 players. 170x200, but in fact it is not so big as you are limited to building only on the ships, or on the island in the centre. There is 8 oils on each ship. There are two trucks on the both big ships. And there is an extra tanker ship for each player with no trucks on it, and those tanker ships can only be accessed by VTOL transport. All the big ships have ramps, so hovers can be sent from them to other ships. Advanced bases are included, including gateways and repair centres. To sum up there is 16 oil per player. Additional 4 on the tanker ships.

The ships look really nice, and give at least very small idea of the idea of being on a war ship :3

!!!text!!!
The map requires usage of hovers or VTOLs to successfully finish it.

Have great fun on the battleships :)

Mero, RekamPam
