Looks interesting, only problem is, most of these buildings are larger than 5x5 squares. Of course, if the map engine could be improved so that large structures could be part of the terrain, this would be awesome

I once made a mod with 8x8 Super Fortress. So it is possible. But it is hard to find flat space for it...

The model I slapped up covers only 2X2 base

Interesting, nice work, I wonder what this could be, new hardpoint for turrets? Power generator? Special sort of radar? Repair turret?

Yes, that's sad, i saw Colditz design an awesome 3x3 model, but sadly it has to be reduced to 2x2 :(

EDIT: I think it was for the balance of the game though

Would It be possible to hide cliff tiles and replace them with an indestructible mesh like this?
You could make large structures and interesting urban terrain with it.

Absolutely brilliant, you overcame the 3x3 => 2x2 issue for VTOL pad, AND it looks good with hard edges and war look

I hope you post the final work in Per's request thread

.

I'm surprised Kamaze is not asking questions here like this:

1.) Are the 15 posted pics your work ?

2.) If not, are they in the Public Domain and created by "anonymous" peeps ?

3.) If proper attribution can be made why is it not provided ?

4.) If these pics are copyrighted have you obtained permission to use them ?

Using Google image sorts and providing the resultant link instead of individual re-postings avoids any copyright infringement.

Ditto all the above as applicable in all the other threads in which you have followed this course.
