"ic" is internets-slang; it means "I see."

I didn't reply the first time since I thought you were just criticizing his internets-slang, not that you actually didn't know what it meant.

I was indeed frustrated because I'm not used to read abbreviated stuff and it took me a while to realize. He also didn't quote anything, so it's unclear to me what he's concurring with.
Damn, I think I'll stay away from the forums for a while.
