Awesome!

I saw your idea for a repair turret in the middle. Not sure how that would work? The rearm pads can rearm/repair four VTOLs simultaneously, but a repair turret cannot be in four places at the same time...?

The idea was that repair turret will help to repair the first damaged VTOL that it will see on the pad. also, we can place there a sensor(for example) instead, but a repair turret is more useful, I think.
This additional turret can be available after some upgrades. :)

If you have installed google sketchup 7 then see my idea how Naval Yard should look,i just textured from default metal textures and one color...it should be 3x2.Should have any cm on the water part, the boat will exit from naval yard or ship factory into the water.Animated texture should be used, its just a simple model in GS7...

RnR my friends!

Sorry, I'm not going to make shipyard because I don't like the whole naval idea. The hover propulsion is enough for me. :|

as for repair turret at the center of the pad - it can do nothing and be used only for a nice animation that will make a VTOL pad not so static building. :)

Well, I just designed an normal map reference for the existing vtol pad and will try to get more high into a building for 4 of those things. I already have an idea for that or how it would look nice.

Only a quick concept. Any suggestions? It's 3x3 by the way, like all other base buildings.

I thought it would better because you have more room to play with. 2x2 is nearly filled with 4 "H" circles.

Looks good and interesting but that will make vtols very unpopular on a small maps. :hmm:
