Yeah, it looks a bit too tall...
But I'm not sure if it should be available only with doubled length, and also it could be probably a bit thiner.

Thanks emdek I resized it however, it is supposed to be thick - it is a double wall. Not just double length but also width it is 4x4 like a fortress/bastion.

Sure, but it shouldn't be too giant, to not look as too big step from current walls.

And it's needed to be considered if it should be allowed or not to connect these bigger walls with current ones etc. And how it would look like if allowed, also how would look like towers and hardpoints with them.

There already ARE hardpoints for them they are called bastions/fortresses. The reason I made the bigger wall was for use with them since we have small walls and small hardpoints but only large hardpoints (bastions).

Sure, but what if someone would like to put there smaller defenses (for example doesn't have enough cash or time to build fortress)?

then later on they of course will upgrade

(I mean who want wimpy walls when you can have strong ones)
@Olrox About you gate model... The actual gate texture looks fine but it would look better if the cement part that goes above it were the same texture as the walls (BTW does anyone know where the texture for the orig wall is that daltx posted on page 1

)

Random idea, in case of implementing of this concept maybe then there could be easy way to upgrade from normal wall to that bigger one (needs nice name, by the way

) by selecting truck an clicking on normal wall (like upgrading of factory etc.).

Hmm good thinking but you would need to click the truck and then select 2 walls to upgrade (because the double wall is 4x4 and reg walls are 1x1) if you were to do that. No I think what would be easier for the devs, is if you click the truck select double wall from the menu and then click to build on top of already existing wall in the process overwriting the old wall

Yeah, but there is small problem with upgrading without choosing that from menu, it is not only longer but also wider so which side of existing wall should be used for widening then?

Whatever side the user chooses.
|-||-||-||-|
then hover the green overlay where you want to build the upgrade
|-||--||-|
or
|--||-||-|
or
|-||-||--|

Showing blueprints when upgrading without use of build menu would be something new... and something very good, it would give good feedback if hovering not upgraded but upgradeable structure would show also blueprint showing what will be added and not only change cursor, more feedback for user.

Now we need someone to implement this.

Modified the gate to work with the wall and YES it will not clip cyborg's heads off

The original model was made by yahodahan, and then Mangust modified it to have less polys. I'm sure Mangust has the textures.
