Hi there!

Whenever i try to load WZ, it comes up with the screen in a window, pauses, then closes instantly.

error:      Registry file config is empty!

Is the only error in stderr.txt. I have tried reinstalling, running with different settings in command line, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Maybe you want to give us a little insight into what kind of system you are running?
Windows? 9x, 2k, XP? Linux? Ubuntu, Fedora, Gentoo, ...? 32bit or 64bit processor?
And whatever comes to your mind what you think might be even remotely related...

My computer is running XP Pro SP2 (32 bit.)
Ati X1600XT 512MB
AMD Athlon XP 64bit 3500+
1.5GB DDR Ram
2x 160GB HDD

All other games work perfectly and stuff, and i used to be able to run it. I used to use a different version of warzone. I can't remember the exact name, something like WZ Toys... It was hosted a coppercore or something. Thanks for your quick reply!

Someone else posted on the mailinglist that he has the same problem on Linux.
A solution is being worked on and will go into 2.0.6.
Till then you should be able to workaround this problem by using my (attached) configfile.

Thank you very much for your help  However, how do i use this? Its just a file called "Config." No extension  :-\

Just put it into your "X:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\Warzone 2100" folder.

Thanks alot for your help! Still doesn't work though Nothing appears in the stderr this time though. It does the same crash, however. Just loads, then quits out.

I assume you updated this one to include Gerard's fix?

Yes, I updated it to r909 and deleted the old version (probably r867).
