I've been noticing a change in the campaign - previously I played these two levels (beta 3 and beta 5) through with version 2.2.4. Currently I'm playing them in 2.3 b11a, and what I'm noticing is that it seems like the AI runs out of energy for unit production very quickly. For example, when I played beta 5 before, the AI would regularly harass me with a VTOL every couple of minutes; this time through, after about 5 or 6 VTOLs, they seem to have run out. In both levels, previously as I hit their main factories, ground units were piled thick and heavy around them; this time through, they seem to run out much more quickly. I'm not sure at what point this behavior changed, as I switched from 2.2.4 to 2.3b9 somewhere in the late betas before, and then to 2.3b10 at gamma 2. This time through, I moved from 2.3b10 to 2.3b11a while somewhere in the late alpha stages.

Ok, just downloaded the beta 11a.. :| Now, i tried three times to play against the new AI, DyDo. But the game keeps crashing. I think its about 30-40 min. in the game. :stare:

Is this a known problem? Will try to play against the normal AI.

Hey, just played the latest beta of yours, great work.

However there are some Ideas I want to share with you.

1. Option: Disable shared upgrades
It seems that whenever you play in teams every invention will be shared. In my opinon there should be an option within the game menu to disable shared upgrades for teams. Sometimes ppl want to enjoy longer games, and especially the lower tech levels. With shared upgrades this is somehow compromised even if you have only one research building per person.

2. Spectator cam
It would be great that once a player lost all his units the whole map becomes revealed, so that the player can watch the rest of the battle. In addition a spectator spot would be great, so that players can watch a game :)

3. Areal fire for artillery.
I always wondered if it would be possible to get the Artillery to attack a marked position.

BUT THE HYPER VELOCITY CANNON OUT FROM THE VTOLS... :gonk: :gonk: :gonk: :scream:
Im know that is fast but Cannons are not faster than Flaks and then they had a 10 % Hit Rate....
But pls but that out im can`t use my Strategie because the Enemys had the HPV-CAnno in less than 3 minutes and then it was it.-... -.-.-.-.-.-.-

And put Heavy Cannon in the right Place...today we had ANTI-Tank Rockets and CAnnos in the same time too ^^

I have some other problems... This time my rant is about putting the computer in "sleep" mode...
After restarting warzone, I cannot select or move units... Keys also doesn't work. If I try to close the game, the cursor keeps stuck at the top left corner.

All this issues happened on a Windows 7 Comp, please keep in mind the idea of solving them.

On other side, please, don't expect any fast reply from me. My personal computer doesn't work, so I won't be able to come very much to the forums or anywhere on the internet. Hope to see this solved when back... It can be a while.

And you should take your rant and report it to the people who make your (wait for it) ... video drivers!

That is a external issue.

Please forgive me if I offended you, I had a bad day, and maybe said it in some offensive way.

Now back to productive talk... I've tested if this happens in other comps, (already have done 3 tests, on computers with different video cards and different operative systems, and the same bug happens, sorry, but two of that computers aren't mine and I don't know what video cards do they have, (I'll try asking later), but I can tell you that this issue isn't a singular case...

Whichever level I play with DyDo skirmish AI mod enabled, when I try to design a multi-turret body tank, as soon as I click to add the second turret, it always crashes the game to desktop. All levels, all the time, with DyDo AI mod enabled.

However, it still is a external issue. Most of the time that happens is when video drivers aren't written correctly or it could be a bug in SDL itself.

I don't know how many people would play a game, then set the computer to sleep, and expect that game to still work OK...never a good idea to do this IMO.

Hmm, you got a crash report file, or error text in (stderr.txt) ?

Ok, I understand. I'll take a look for the case those other computer's drivers aren't up to date, and I will try again. If I still have that problem, I won't complain again. Just one thing I'd like to know if can be solved, when you minimize warzone, the cursor gets stuck on the corner of the screen, can just that thing be solved?

This is with beta 11a?
That issue (which is another external SDL issue) was fixed by using a newer version of SDL than the last beta builds.

I played this release a bit and i have noticed few flaws:

a) My PC is up to date and quite new so game runs great, but sometimes (when i play for more than 2hrs) game just closes. I saw that this happens to people sometimes. (Played twice today, first time crash at 2:14 hrs of play, second flawless 5hrs play).
b)whats up with this unit limit? I like to build series of towers, but if i do so, i am only allowed to have 14 tanks (when NPC have many). It would be great to be able to toggle unit limitations.
c)i played with my friends and 4 maxed NPCs in map "The Pit" with no teams set. First i saw NPCs with nice armies and quite many units, but in the end, he had like 20 cyborgs and he did nothing. He was just keeping them in his base and rebuilding any of them missing. It was very easy to kill him in the end. Like someone wrote before me "they run out of units".
d)Thats a random thing. Did you try to pick a barrel of energy with a sensor tank? All artillery starts firing that barrel. This happens if you try to pick up artifacts too. It seems the sensor tank transmits those coordinates as a target. Nothing much, but may be annoying for some.

What i did like was that you can see, what you are about to build (that green shadow of upcoming structure). Many other decent updates were nice too. Though multi turret body? The graphics bug up with it. Try adding dual arch-angel missiles on that thing lol. :) Wonder when will graphics improve...

Anyways, hope i was in any kind of help. My first post. Just registered. Though i was playing warzone since the release for PS One and i am with you guys for last year and a half. I am really happy with your work. :3
