Sound effects nearly stop working completely when satellite uplink is built.

Bug Description
Everytime I build the satellite uplink (the thing that lets you see the entire map) the sound effects nearly stop working. Once in a while you hear them, but for the most part the sounds of guns firing etc stop although they may randomly sound.
