Awesome, I couldn't get editworld working with WINE like I did before on my other mac, not sure why, havent had much time to look into it.
Sadly, I did somehow manage to screw up a cider port of another one of my games, and I can't play it anymore.

Re: A Map Editor
Re: A Map Editor
I've noticed that, after loading a .wz map, flaME's auto-texture doesn't recognize textured areas anymore (i.e you can't use the "fill" tool on a closed texturized area, it fills the whole map). This is also causing some painful trouble with auto-cliff, since I've had to manually repaint all the cliffs' sides in The Lost River so that the cliffs could be applied.
Isn't there a way to make flaME recognize the kind of texture that is applied in the tiles so that it recognize areas with the same texture? It would be great if that could be fixed.
Thanks!

Re: A Map Editor
I tried to compile the editor under Linux(Debian) with vbnc(Mono)
apt-get install mono-vbnc libtaoframework-opengl-cil-dev libmono-sharpzip2.84-cil
vbnc *.vb `pkg-config --libs tao-opengl tao-platform-windows` -r:/usr/lib/mono/2.0/ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll
These errors remain:
/.../clsFileBitmap.vb (6,30) : Error VBNC30451: Could not resolve the name 'Bitmap'

Re: A Map Editor
That is just a few reasons why it has to be ported to linux/mac first.

Re: A Map Editor
I'm planning to start working on Qt4 version of map editor (this one could be really useful to see how it works internally) but I don't have enough free time currently...macuser wrote:That is just a few reasons why it has to be ported to linux/mac first.
