Hey, I just recently upgraded to Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit. On my Windows XP Home, it worked fine, but now in the new OS, it very laggy in the main menu, and the game won't start? is there a problem? or do I need to re-download the game?

I have windows 7 Premium (64-bit) and it is often is a bit laggy I know when going to host games it does take a bit of time to load (before game is placed in lobby). I think the game and lobby is also just generally slow, but may also be your computer it may not have enough power to run windows 7 and the game since windows xp requires less overall power to maintain then windows 7. What are your computer specs?

My mother board is an ASRock G31m-S R2.0. I'm running with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, clocked to 3.3Ghz. I've got 2 gigs of RAM, with a 300 watt power supply. I do not have a video card, unfortunately. Is this my problem?

Yes, the video card could be the problem but not really sure exactly what it is. I say bare with it or use different computer. Sorry I couldn't be much help. :)

If you do not have a video card, then a significant chunk (my guess would be at least 128 MB minimum) of your main RAM is being allocated as video RAM, and thus is not available for running the operating system or programs. To find out exactly how much RAM is allocated, look in your BIOS settings. This arrangement is adequate for normal computer use, but marginal for games like Warzone, which has 3D graphics, lots of textures, shaders, plus all the unit path and projectile calculations going on. Playing such games on your system is going to be somewhat taxing. Add to this that you are using a 64-bit operating system, and you are really starting to tax your system.

Who built that PC with only a 300 watt power supply? Is it a laptop? That sounds dreadfully underpowered.

For a comparison, here are my desktop system specs:

Operating System: Windows Vista 32-bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz (no overclocking)
RAM: 2 GB (2x1GB) DDR2-SDRAM PC2-6400 (399 MHz) - [DDR2-800]
Mainboard: Gigabyte 965P-DQ6 (Intel 965 Chipset with no onboard graphics)
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon X1950 GT 256 MB GDDR3 PCI-x16
PSU: 600W

Now all of this said, Warzone still lags for me from time to time, especially when I build a turtle base wall three hard points deep. That's a lot of polygons to draw on the screen as it scrolls. And I will see Warzone stick when I scroll over my base (but not so much out where there is barren map).

If yours is a desktop and it has room for a graphics card, you should see some performance boost. But make sure you have a power supply that can adequately power a graphics card.

Also, if it is enabled, try disabling Aero Desktop Effects. That contributes a large chunk of desktop system resources, iirc.

Also make sure your graphics driver is up to date, look on Intel's website for those.

(BTW, both of the systems shouldn't need more than a 300 W PSU. Unfortunately it seems most people go by the usual "higher number is better" metric there as well...)

It isn't so much the total power as it is the ability to add new devices to one's PC. I haven't seen any power supplies in the 400W and below range that have adequate power rails and connections for modern CPUs and graphics cards.

I have a system with a quad-core processor, 6 GB of RAM, and a 512mb Nvidia 8800 GT. It uses a 430W Antec EarthWatts PSU. They're more power efficient, too. Perhaps you should check that out?
