you'll want to use the uncompressed avi files as the source for conversion to ogm, as quality gets progressively worse every time you compress it (especially when you compress it with another algo) -- converting a compressed avi into a compressed theora vid is several orders of magnitude worse than using the uncompressed ones.

It most likely does violate copyright that way.

And i ve just played around with it a bit . Is it legal to put the movie on this forum ? If it isn't, i will remove it. coyot'e s posts should also be edited. if we're very strict  ;D

I assume this would be legal with fair usage quotations. (I.e. you showing what you can accomplish)

Wouldn't be legal to use it in Warzone though.
