dell Inspiron 580
Intel Core i5 CPU 760 @ 2.80GHz
6.00GB RAM
(extra 3 GB on ready boost =D)
64-bit operating system
windows 7 home premium service pack 1.
1TB HDD - OS
1TB HDD - films and crap (also backup of main =D)
Dell card reader (does not work with my computer even though it came with the computer T.T
56X disk drive
1GB graphics card
even with all of this it is not fast enough for me

it lags when i have more then 10 windows on (WOW, msn, Skype, Chrome, Mozilla, Warzone, Notes, Couple of windows explorers (file browser ones), Roblox, Blender, itunes, windows mail and several other programs).
and yes i do have these open all at the same time =D althogh i do put the game programs on high priority =D

what model is your graphics card? (the difference is huge)
Also you may have more background processes going on than you think...

i only have firefox and task manager open when i run warzone i close firefox to prevent severe lag

I think it's just because windows doesn't allow any real multitasking yet.
