online hosting doesnt work EVEN WITH open ports =S

hi i got a problem.
i did my port forwarding on my router, i got ports 2100, 9990 and 9999 open like this:

[attachment=0]port2.jpg
yet the hosting STILL doesnt work!
when i try to host game i got mesage like this:
"system message:
unable to establish a game: can't reach connection with 85.***.***.113:2100" (my external IP, wont give it due to security reasons)
basically the lobby can't see me, even though i have the ports forwarded and open ;/ whats wrong ;?
please help

Are you forwarding to the right computer?
Sometimes the lobby gets confused. Have you tried rehosting?

Just have to laugh, security reasons? You do know that every site you visit or any game you connect to, the IP is known?
Getting back to the problem the game does not show your IP at all on the host or lobby screen. It should say
Code: Select all
_("Could not communicate with lobby server! Is TCP port 9990 open?")
or
_("Could not resolve masterserver name (%s)!"
or
"Error while registering game with the lobby server: Is port 2100 open?"
You should do --debug net then try to host the game and attach stderr.txt here after you exit the game.

Actually, my problem was ignorance, pure and simple. I didn't use
THIS properly.
By what I see on wasptkf's screenshots, he set the protocol as TCP, while it only functioned for me when set as "Both". Maybe it's only that?
