How about spider?

It would be a 8 legged light and fast propulsion.

Just a thought..

You should do a search - I am certain that somebody else already conducted work on spider-leg-like propulsion.

it's come up countless times since 1999.

here is the last time it was raised which is its only distinction from previous occasions over the last decade
