Hi, I got stuck with alot of old vehicles. I don't mind having them around, every fire power is good, however I always get the error that I reached the limit of command tower (or something like this), so I cannot create more vehicles, and sometimes I cannot even command existing ones. So I want to ask, should I send the old ones to recycle, what would happen to them? what would happen to their rank?
Thank you.
Recycle? What is it exactly?
Re: Recycle? What is it exactly?
You could define that as follows:
1. Recicle old units, keeping the experience points.
2. Get some energy for recycling.
3. Build new units with the experience stored from old rrecycled units.
Easy though!
Edit: You can only command 100 units in campaign mode.

So if I get it right, for each unit I recycle, the next unit I create, no matter what it is - it gets the last recycled unit's experience and rank?

Re: Recycle? What is it exactly?
But the recycled units' experience isn't saved in savegames (see #251).

Re: Recycle? What is it exactly?
So recycled units inherit experience but only in single player campaign mode?
Re: Recycle? What is it exactly?
yeah and no
say you get a heavy machine-guner up to elite rank you can recycle that unit and then build say a lancer and the lancer unit will gain the rank of the unit you just recycled.
when you recycle more than one unit things get a little more complicated but essentially here is how its works when you recycle more then one unit there experience is stored in order of experience.
so if you recycle 3 units with the following ranks veteran, professional and elite there experance will be stored as follows elite, veteran, professional
so when you rebuild your units they will be produced in order of rank from highest to lowest
so first unit to be produced will be elite as that was the highest rank unit you recycled the second unit will be veteran as that was the second highest rank unit and the third will be professional as that was the lowest rank unit
hope this clarifies things for you.
