Distances

In WZ,all distances are in meters,but wouldn't it be simplier to show them in squares.
And,1 square=how much meters?
I am asking this because i'm making a small mod,
just to change some things in MP...

1 square = 128 meters. We use them in situations where "squares" isn't a precise enough measurement.

I dunno about you, but I been modding since the early 90's so I just naturally "mentally parse" pretty much ALL numbers by Hex/Pixels rather than base-10... IoW: 2_4_8_16_32, 64_128_256_512, 1024_2048_4096_etc.... The only time it really trips me up is when I have to convert from inches (and I'm a 'Yank' too!
