Some Suggestions

My suggestions:

1. The rotary MG bunker kindoff obsoletes the machine gun bunker, its like an upgrade to it. So why not upgrading the bunker by simply assigning a truck to it? You upgrade power generators and research facilities the very same way. Its annoyingt to click dozens of times just to modernize your bunker installations. I´d prefer to select a truck, press shift and then select 5 bunkers in a row... done. Maybe add a time penalty for altering a bunker, thats fine.

2. Disassembling buildings is much to fast. Recently there were some MRL Tanks attacking one of my bunker.. they took 5 minutes to render its health bar to yellow (I did a lot of research in concrete). I ordered a truck to remove this bunker, and the job was finished instantly... the bunker vanished...
Yes, it sucks if removing buildings takes a lot of time. Though I think one second is to fast... how about 5 seconds? It wouldnt change a lot regarding balance, but it feels better.

3. When a truck stands on the place where it shall construct a building, it doesn't work. The place is not considered as free. This annoys. The order to build a building at this place implies the order to move to an appropriate position, at least for the involved truck.

4. Extending point three, even not involved units might clear the place where a building shall be built. This could be achieved by introducing construction yards. As a first step a truck would claim a construction yard, representing the shape of the building. All units inside this yard would try to leave it asap, and avoid reentering. Once the yard is clean, the construction process itself begins.
I think its strange that you simply cant build a 1x1 building like a sensor tower in the middle of a group of tanks. Don't they have radio "Please avoid this place, I am gonna to create a sensor tower there!"?

Ok, those are my suggestions, I hope you welcome them!

Regards, Joe

Those are all good ideas. The disassembly is slower in trunk (future 2.3) already.

Moving back to Project Feedback. In the future, don't move topics by unregistered users out of Feedback, or they will be unable to reply.

oh another suggestion its from someone else's post, which i cant find now

-when you finish the whole campaign, there will be 2 option, one where you can start the campaign normaly, and the other option, start the campaign with all the stuff you have research, and with added new research option from the MP =)
but the difficulty will be VERY HARD =)

Both of these can be handled with a small bit of micro. If you know you're gonna be building something somewhere, then clear it yourself.

Moving back to Gen Dev again, since the staff have decided that it's easy enough for someone to register.

I agree. I think it should be possible to build defenses over other defenses, in fact. Any of them. For instance if you have Cyclone and Whirlwind emplacements early in the game and eventually get Stormbringers and SAMs you'd normally have to tediously disassemble the old AA and replace them with Stormbringer and SAM emplacements. Being able to "overwrite" defenses in general would be a great feature.

Trivial. This has little to no effect on gameplay at all. Consider the above issue of having to replace old defenses; having a slower disassembly time would just make it worse.

Oh God, yes. This is a definite change that needs to be implemented. In Supreme Commander, for instance, this is not an issue at all, though the pathfinding and AI may be the reason; the units are intelligent enough to move out of the way of where they are building.

I assume the reason you cannot build where units are in Warzone 2100 was just due to the AI limitations at the time; them not being intelligent enough to move out of the way, so they made it so you had to do it. I mean ever build rows of defenses in Warzone in a tight spot and have trucks infinitely stuck in between defenses and buildings? Yeah...
