*note just found out I need to get x11* *downloading* *I have newer software on my computer, so can't install it*

Okay, I still need help with this one.

os 14.4.11
2.16 ghz intel core 2 duo
1 gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram

error message like

You have to install X11 from the Mac OS X Leopard CD. You can't download X11 anywhere, for some reason (the one on Apple's website is for Tiger only).

Hello. I tried installing x11, and was unable to as more recent software was found on my computer. I didn't even have the option to install over it or roll back.Will try again and post the results soon.

Can you post the exact error message? A screenshot would be nice.

Hey - I've been having what I suspect is a similar problem. I'm unable to get WZ 2.1 or 2.2 to launch on my mac os x 10.4.9 and I tried to debug via Terminal first as per instructions in another thread— this occurred:

I was 94% sure I had X11 installed, but when I couldn't find the app anywhere I dl'ed from apple and heres a screenshot of the ensuing installation error:

any idea what gives? I had wz running swell on my brothers 10.5 powerbook…but I try to launch on my iBook and the icon bounces once or twice on the dock and then shrinks and closes, no error, no crash report, nada.

Any help would be marvelous.
