Oh, I wasn't talking about height maps, since about the only thing that makes sense with that is grayscale.
I meant for display purposes, like the map that Coyote is showing.

* Oh.. sorry I misunderstood.
* You mean the
"Locator Maps.... Hmmm... You will have to account for the fact that EW uses a whole bunch of different colors for the "Legend-Key" (against that monochrome) to indicate map features, resources, structs, GWs, Ciff-face, etc....at a glance.... very useful to keeping track and finding a map with a complex of pre-builds and pre-placements.
