Warzone 2100 Dual Turrets

I played WZ2100 with Dual turrets before and now I can't build vehicles with them anymore. What happened to that? It was really nice, even the AI used them.

Well, the decision to remove them was in another thread entirely:

According to Whipper's linked poll, a lot of people disagreed with it, but what can I do? :/ Bring it up with Buggy or something - I don't really have the authority to go against him and EvilGuru.
