I haven't tired the 2.2 release (svn) yet, but I just wanted to know if the FMVs were subtitled?
And if not, why not do so? :D

Weird...

In my case the FMVs are subtitled but don't seem use the (French) translation. Instead, they're in English.

SVN 7172 (I think, but it may also be 7174)
Linux Ubuntu 9.04

The maintainers (including myself, so I'm not pointing fingers here) are really bad at updating the language files.

The subtitles are .txt files found in base.wz\sequenceaudio + subdirs and not localized (why???)

It is because, they are read from a text file. I am not even sure how we would handle translations, since the way we do it now, the macro _("whatever") is handled by gettext.
(http://www.gnu.org/manual/gawk/html_nod ... ttext.html)

So, as of right now, it isn't possible to translate the subtitles.
