Universal features mod

Here is a small mod which stops warzone's features from being tertile specific. Using this mod any maps made with features from another tertile set will still look right. You can now put buildings in arizona maps etc.
put it in your "mods\global" folder or your "mods\global\autoload" folder.
the command line parameter if it was put in the global folder is "--mod features.wz"
if it's put in the autoload folder then no command line parameter is needed and it will always be used (unless you remove it from the autoload folder).

manaze: in order to see what this mod does you have to make a new map that mixes heretofore incompatible
feature sets.
like for example making a Rocky Mountain tertile map and placing Features from the Urban Tertile set like Office Buildings or
Scav Shack Features from the Arizona tertile set. this Mod makes possible maps never before feasible.

Okay, so if i go install the mod, will the stock maps be changed in any way?

Nope... at least I don't see why they should. Stock maps did NOT mix tertile feature sets when
they were made because the result in-game was unacceptable GFX anomalies - basically, shredded
models.

I think there are some maps in that 70 maps for 2.1 collection (available somewhere here in the forum) which might have some use for this. I think there was several maps (among them where the map name SnowyMountain or something like that) where there were features that had those blue empty textures, possible because of the problem that this mod corrects?
If this mod does not have any bad side effects, maybe it should be incorporated into the nightly builds and official builds? It could possibly correct errors in some user made maps?
