Hi, I just packaged 2.1beta4 for openSUSE. The repo URL is currently

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home://wstephenson/openSUSE_11.0/

which includes quesoglc (packaged as libGLC0). I've only played the tutorial (first play since 1999) but it seems to run well enough, on i586 and x86_64 archs, if slowly. 20fps or so on Radeon X1650 +fglrx, Q9450, 4Gb at 1024x768, no shadows. 2.0.10 was much slower.

To add the repo and install it:

zypper addrepo http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home://wstephenson/openSUSE_11.0 home-wstephenson
zypper install warzone2100

Or just use YaST, of course.

My mistake, I was using the "radeon" driver - with fglrx the frame rate is excellent.

Can you tell us which version of warzone is in the current openSUSE (official) repo, if any?
