StrategyInformer links to that URL. Unless we can convince them to update their settings, it's easier to make a redirect from that URL to a more useful UR-

What if we do something real nice for warzone 2100 10 anniversary very few titles or companies make something special. Its April 10, 1999 according to wikipedia

Ive been playing Warzone2100 for a good while now. Ive spread it around to a good group of my friends, and them to a handful of others. We typically play over IP but it has desyncing problems.


So I have been working on getting the word around, and also putting up youtube videos of me randomly playing parts. Im a tad rusty, but am quickly getting it back. Not to mention I play it on hard mode a lot.

For those who wish to promote Warzone 2100: It has come to my attention that our wiki page at Giantbomb (along with our release information) is currently quite sparse. It would be good if a couple of people could take it upon themselves to ensure that the information is both accurate and up-to-date.

I could try and get up a myspace page for it being a linux and mac user I would love to see current linux version updated, If i were to make a myspace I would need support from current users I can post accountinfo on this forum so all can edit it or maybe something where respected member can edit it? idk

also thanks for what everyone has been doing lately i really think it is working.

the things people have been asking me the most is multiplay not working or not players and modding especially on moddb. Someone should tell me what to tell people when they ask this also people are wanting more mods so add all your mods on moddb.

While I hate to be seen as an advert spammer, I did post a review of Warzone 2100 on The Escapist user reviews board just prior to signing up. I didn't get any comments regarding how good it was although I did link the review to this website a couple of posts in.

The link is bellow so feel free to have a look. Hopefully it got a few people to try the game out.

Your screenshots are taken with an old version (1.10) of the game on a modern computer. I can tell, because it has some serious graphics bugs. Screenshot 2.2 RC1 instead, it looks much nicer. Or if you're going to screenshot an old version, do it on Windows 98 or something...
