Um....

I'm not sure if it would not screw up the ambiance.
If you want to add these models to the game, you should redo every game models whit this style.

Mhm, i don't think that these actually fit into the game style.

well, tha tank turret defenetly doesnt fit, thats for sure, but hey, im just puting into looks some ideas, still would like more specific constructive ideas, since the style wiki doesnt really says much. I think im going to render things without texture for now, since well they might look better, the microwave antena migth still fit, and the body, well... i can use that many polys, so its really hard to make cool things. I'll get back to the drawing board at nigth and see if i can make a new cannot turret with a more future kind of look to it. But hey, guys, comments really apreciated, dont really know how many 3d artists this comuniti has, for sure there might be quite some, but im open to all ideas. this is your chance.

Just how many polygons are you using for those so far?

The engine is pretty old, that is why it has such low polygon limitations. While this will change in the future, right now, we are stuck with low polygon models.

As for 'style', it really depends on what you plan to do. If you remake all the stuff in the same 'style' as what you have above, then I see no real issue. It is just when you have nice looking stuff along side with crappy looking stuff is when it looks bad.

We don't have anyone, actively, doing any model work AFAIK.
It is a big job, and if you do plan on doing this, then we were looking at adding 'mount points' for multiple turrets.
Right now, it can look pretty crappy, since the models were not designed for multiple-turret support.

Well for the body i think it was below 100, for the radar thing, it was about 190, tracks below 50, and the tank turret around 170, for the AA with lots of missiles around 800... got to shrink that.

Well, i was working on weapon new models, but i can make a tower or something that can hold multiple weapons on it... it can be done as a 2, 3, 4 or even 5 turrets mount point... depends on what you guys are looking for.

Looks nice. The left ones are hardpoints with weapon mounts?

the left most one is a 2 weapons mount hardpoint and the next to it its a 4 weapons mount hardpoint. Just and idea.

More than 1 weapon seems a little like overkill.

In that case I'd make it diagonal, to loosen it a bit more.

well, once i have weapons made ill stick a couple to them to see the look and feel to it. And what you mean by diagonal, not following your idea there?

Any way, ill start working on a new set of tracks today, and see if i can make something nice. And also ill start using the 3ds 2 pie application to see if i can make some models into the game.
