How do I shoot down the transport before it flies off?  really hard mission where I have to destry an enemy transport in the time it takes to land, fill up and fly off, can any one help?  No one seems fast enough and powerfull enough.....

As I don't want to distribute unnecessary spoilers... which stage are you referring to?  Can you be mroe specific?

this is the away mission with the scavs where you start in the south wast & the new paradigm lz is in the north west?
you dont have to shoot the transport down, nor can you

1 st transport, send 8 hmg's & 2 trucks, build some defences & a repair facility at your lz while flying in a transport of lancer tanks and another of med cannons.

once all the units are there(bout 3 or 4 minutes in)
send them all into the valley running east-west to ambush the new paradigm,
but send your mgs into the scav bases only kill the towers that could hit retreaing units & the scav factories.

make sure to recover the artefact in the valley,
the bug-sensor-wheels is carrying it!
just as precaution, dont let any of the new paradigm get past you,
should be easy due to the geography

Many thanks for your help!  Are there any other walk throughs available, reluctant to use cheats but appreciate helpful tips!

though there are better more efficient ways (IMO) to do some of the missions.
