Can you play this game without needing to use a keyboard during gameplay. I'm looking for a game my father and I can play but he has trouble using a keyboard in the environment where he is most comfortable. He has a keyboard and can operate it, but doesn't want to use one for gameplay.

While the game does not currently support being played with a controller, and - at least for online competitive multiplayer - people tend to utilize lots of keyboard shortcuts for speed & efficiency, it is indeed possible to play the game with just a mouse / pointing device.

Especially if you stick to campaign (where you can actually slow down the game speed if you desire), local skirmish (vs AI bots), or local / LAN multiplayer (just you two - not the competitive rooms online) where you can go at whatever pace you want.

(In fact you can also host an online multiplayer game yourself and password-protect it, and just share the password so only specific people can join.)
