By the way, aren't the Betas build from the latest trunk? If I recall corectly, the trunk already has new_terrain, doesn't it? Why is it missing in the beta?
...no, 2.2 betas are builds from the latest 2.2-branch. Trunk builds are generally too unstable to be in beta (although Warzone is an exception - trunk is currently approximately as stable as 2.2-branch).

I'd build a Windows installer for you, but it can't be done in Windows (it has to be done in Linux), and I don't know how to do it in Linux.

They say it can't be build under Windows anymore. But I can't believe that. I mean, the 2.2 Betas can be build to, and they are based on trunk. So trunk should be able to be build on Windows, too.

And I never heard that you can build Windows binaries only on Linux. That'd be the most senseless thing ever.

O_o

Who said this?
All versions can still be built on windows.
We build on linux with a cross-compiler. Why? It is much easier.
You have to remember, almost all the devs working on the project are using linux as the main OS.

The reason we don't have nightly builds anymore is purely a space issue, AFAIK.
and it ends here.

I did. I mean that Windows installers can't be built on Windows anymore, which is completely true.

Sorry, i'm confused.
What is the meaning of installer by Zarel?
Installer is the little thingy which unzips the WZ2100 downloadable in the directory user choosed, and sets some little paths and so?
Then there are innumerable programs to make such in windows.
If meant the compiler to make WZ2100 executable on windows, maybe. Depends on the source code. I'm sure there are such programs in the windows universe, but mainly not free.
