What problem?HolyDragoon wrote:So, the main problem, common to the beta versions and nightly builds is running on Windows XP... do you have any idea about what causes that?
You won't be worry about the Nexus only people in multilayer.Chojun wrote:No NEXUS virus quips, people, or I will cut you.
What graphics card you got? This would be an effect caused by lack of driver support for the OpenGL texture rectangle extension. There should be a note about it in the log.Zi-Chan wrote:I don't know, if you know it, but i tried the last Trunk (r5913) just for Fun and i can't see the Minimap after building the Command Center.![]()
Don't have a real Graphics Card - only an Onboard-Solution. Intel® 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family.Per wrote:What graphics card you got? This would be an effect caused by lack of driver support for the OpenGL texture rectangle extension. There should be a note about it in the log.
There's a lot of non-translated stuff in the swedish version as well, I thought about trying to edit the language files, but it seemed to mostly contain the same kind of strange symbols you usually see when you open a executable file in an editor. Though I'm not sure what swedish word would fit best for the skirmish mode, it would seem to be translated to the word "Skärmytsling", but I don't think that's a common enough word in the swedish language (I haven't heard it used in anything but a 100 year old history books, the article on swedish wikipedia cites an encyclopedia printed in 1904-1926 as source) to be understood by the average swedish gamer.Zi-Chan wrote:"Start Skirmish Mode" isn't translated too - should be "Geplänkel starten". By the Way: "Geplänkel" isn't the right Word. I didn't even know the Word "Geplänkel", before i saw it at Warzone - and i'm german. "Geplänkel" sounds like an austrian Word.
"Single Player" should be "Einzelspieler" and "Multi Player" should be "Mehrspieler" - those are the german Words.

AFAIK, you edit the .po files in trunk or the 2.1 branch. (You would need to do both if you want both fixed)fisk0 wrote: There's a lot of non-translated stuff in the swedish version as well, I thought about trying to edit the language files, but it seemed to mostly contain the same kind of strange symbols you usually see when you open a executable file in an editor. I'd use "Einzelgefecht" there, since just "Gefecht" doesn't make that much sense IMO.Zi-Chan wrote:Wikipedia says, that "Geplänkel" isn't even a Battle in that Sense - "Geplänkel" describes a Fighting Strategy where you don't stop attacking your Enemy even if this doesn't beat it - just to keep the Enemy covered. Another reason, why it should be changed to "Gefecht", which means Battle, Combat, Skirmish.
There's also https://translations.launchpad.net/warzone2100, but that seems to be for 2.1 only.Buginator wrote:AFAIK, you edit the .po files in trunk or the 2.1 branch. (You would need to do both if you want both fixed)
You use a utility like http://www.poedit.net/ or something like that.
Then, you log into http://developer.wz2100.net/ create a new ticket, and attach the edited .po file, and someone should commit it sooner or later.
