1. Recycle unit with experience.
2. Build a similar unit.
3. Next unit comes out experienced.
What percentage of experience transfers to the newly minted unit?
Is it more complicated than this?

The recycling process is very simple, there is no loss of xp at all and it does not matter if the transfer was from a tank to a cyborg unit or tanks of different sizes and guns. The only thing to notice is that if you have a unit that you recycled and then wanted the xp to go to a commander unit, the xp level of the new commander unit will be a few levels lower, because commanders need 2 times the amount of xp per level.

Thank you for the information. I don't think there is a game mechanic like this in any other RTS I have played. This game is so interesting for one there is over 20 years old.

I think the new units get the recycled experiences beginning with the highest one and then lower and lower ranks. :)

Sort of like in Command & Conquer Generals where the pilots eject from elite vehicles?
I would like to think that the commanders swap vehicle to vehicle.
