3.4.1 version doesnt support any downloaded maps?

I downloaded a bunch of maps i wanted to try out but when starting a skirmish in singlep or multip maps dont show on screen. Is it because my game version is 3.4.1 and maps are outdated to 3.1, 3.1.5? the same goes with scavengers, it wont work with my newest version? Cause i added them but i dont get anything in my upper left corner of the screen that the mod is installed or something. Please answer me if anyone is still here!!!
