Duel Mod

This mod is made for fans of the "No arty & VTOL" mode and is more suitable for the game with the settings of "No Shared Research" or 1vs1 duels.

This mod simplifies the research tree while giving more choice between important research and more builds and tactics will appear.

Mod Changes:

1. Removed all artillery except the "Mini-rocket Array" and "Seraph Missile Array", "VTOL", "AA", All Engine and Thermal armor improvements, "Command Turret", "Command Relay Post", "Nexus Link Turret", "Missile Fortress", "Mass Driver Fortress", "Radar Detector", "CB Turret", "Bunker Buster Rocket".

2. Reduced time to research all "body", "Heavy Cannon", "Assault Cannon", "Twin Assault Cannon", "Assault Gun", "Twin Assault Gun", "Tank Killer Rocket", "Cannon Laser Rangefinder", "Cannon Laser Designator", "Stabilized Rockets", "Improved Rocket Wire Guidance", "Rocket Laser Designator", "Thermal Imaging Rockets", "Inferno".

Significantly reduced the time of the research branch from "APDSB MG Bullets Mk3" to "Depleted Uranium MG Bullets". This will increase the importance of using bullet + cannon builds, bullet + missiles and so on not only in the early stages but now up to T3.

3. Some research branches will be available earlier because intermediate dependencies on other research branches are removed. For example, the total time for exploring the branch of improving the strength of defensive structures from "Improved Hardcrete" to "Plasteel Mk3" will be less.

4. Improved the parameters of all defensive structures. All "Hardpoint" and "Towers" have increased parameters "longRange", "longHit" and "shortHit". All "Bunkers" and "Emplacements" have only improved "longHit" and "shortHit". In other words, defensive structures will become more accurate and long-range.

5.The bodies "Retaliation", "Retribution", "Vengeance", "Wyvern" and "Dragon" now correspond to their high price and are faster to produce.

6. "Hover Propulsion" - cost reduced.
"Tracked Propulsion" - weight reduced.
"Wheeled Propulsion" - speed increased.
"Heavy Laser" - weight reduced and production time increased.
"Heavy Cannon", "Assault Cannon", "Twin Assault Cannon", "Tank Killer Rocket" - production time reduced.
"Plasma Cannon" - parameters: "weight", "longRange", "radius" and "radiusDamage" values ​​are reduced.
"Sensor Turret" - range increased = range "Hardened Sensor Tower".
"Command Center" - range reduced = range "Hardened Sensor Tower".
"Cyb-Wpn-Rail1" and "Super Rail-Gunner" - parameter "penetrate" is enabled. "Super Rail-Gunner" - received adequate (improved) parameters for its level of technology.
"Rail Gun", "Gauss Cannon" - parameters "damage", "radius" and "radiusDamage" values ​​are reduced.
"Seraph Missile Array" - parameters "damage", "longHit" and "radiusDamage" values ​​are increased.
"Leopard", "Panther", "Tiger" - parameters "weight" and "powerOutput" changed = "Viper", "Cobra", "Python".
"Super Heavy-Gunner" - parameters "longRange", "shortRange", price and production time increased.

7. Three additional upgrades for "Cyborg Composite Alloys" added and some values ​​are increased. This is due to the fact that in the original balance cyborgs with the advent of needles, rails and gausses remained very fragile and the need for their production disappeared.

Now lasers will become a more important weapon than in the original balance, and they will not lose their need even with the appearance of gauss guns.

In general, finally there will be a balance on T3 and after.

The images illustrate the technology tree of this mod. New values ​​are signed in red.

Final version.

How to install the mod. Place the archive in the directory "Your username \ AppData \ Roaming \ Warzone 2100 Project \ Warzone 2100 3.3.0 \ mods \ autoload".

Create a game in multiplayer or in a single game and the mod will already work.

Not. The mod is made only for "players vs. players".
