Can't rescue alpha team

I get to where the alpha team is, and can not take over alpha team to get
them to the lz.
All I see over alpha teams units is a white X.
Looks like a bug.

Your description is not precise enough.
Please improve it and attach logfiles (ideally also a screenshot) so we can diagnose your problem.
I also suggest that you play the campaign using our latest developer version, in which many bugs have been fixed:
