Now only if someone would audit that audit list and remove most of those...most of them are really old stuff I think.

For testing, if you have a compiler, and can do a svn checkout, then you can pull the latest version down, and start playing with that.  Then when it crashes or does something strange, then just attach screenshot, and or include a bt full (if on linux/mac) or attach the minidump file if on windows @ the GNA bug tracker.  The more information you provide the better.

Happens to me (running Win2K and XP) when VTOLS approach at full speed, 'miss' the helipad and try to correct course while accelerating.

The H doesn't show up at all with me since 2.0.10. Might be related.

Umm... can someone kindly provide (a link to) a short how-to on compiling the Wz2100 on MinGW on a Win machine?

As to the VTOL hovering indefinitely instead of landing, I've had that happen numerous times, both in the original, and the newest editions of WZ.  IF my memory serves me correctly whilst having my first cuppa java, it is mostly with high-speed VTOL units returning from a mission, either after having been assigned to a sensor array or sent in by "manual" command .  I have not seen it happen on the AI's side tho, even in those times when I had their base "exposed" in any way shape or form.

Hopefully, I'll have the time to sit down this next week and get the tools I need to debug things and do some serious beta testing......job hunting right now has been on top of the list for obvious reasons!

well, we're about to enter the 4th quarter of 2008 now, any estimates on when it will be released?
2.0 misses so many features I want, and the 2.1 beta 4 is too unstable to be any fun to play.

When it is stable enough. We (the developers) would really appreciate it if you filed bug reports for any/all of the issues you are currently having with 2.1.

I would if I could just find anything that causes the bugs I encounter, at the moment it just seems the game crashes randomly on me, I'm sure there has to be something I do each time that causes the bug, but I haven't managed to finish a single skirmish game (or a mission in the campaign) in beta 4 because of crashes. It just seems to happen whenever I issue any kind of order after about 15 minutes, but I have no idea what it is that really causes it to happen.

Any crash dumps? stderr.txt/stdout.txt information?

Oh, and if you do got any of that, then please post it in the beta 2.1 feedback forum, not here. :)

its better to take your time and release a good version then to hurry up and release a bugged version in my opinion

will the 2.1 have the FMV's? or will they be a separate download?

No, 2.1 has a feature freeze, only "important" improvements like the improved path finding will still be back ported. 2.2 will be the first chance for the FMVs.

btw how do I make a bug report? the game sometimes crashes(at random moments I might add) and I would like to submit a bug report
