Odd 'hi-res' wheels

So I've been playing a little with the latest warzone 2100 version
And noticed how the wheels are kinda hi-res while the rest of all vehicle parts are like... default?
Is there a Hi-Res pack that affects ALL vehicle parts? :s
Because for me it just looks like it's kinda out of place :s

I redid the wheels quite some time ago: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=2529

Initially it was just the wheels for heavy bodies as I thought that they looked really ugly.

These days, there is a lot of far more impressive work going into redoing models and textures. You can find most of it in this forum, for example, Jorzi's thread: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=5136

There was a link to the Art Revolution mod somewhere around here fairly recently, but I can't seem to find it. It contains a lot of the complete models and accompanying textures.

Oh, okay.
Strange question, I know, but:
Is there any way to revert to the original? :/
It just looks way too odd for me .__.

I'm not exactly sure when they were added, but 2.3.9 doesn't appear to contain them.

You could grab the wheel .pie files from https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2 ... nents/prop (any of the files *whl#.pie)

I don't think team colours will work on these models as the teamcolouring system was changed, but I think you will be able to fix that by running them through https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2 ... implipie.c

Once you've got the working models, you can create a mod that uses them, see http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/ModdingTutorial for some help if you are unfamiliar. Simply put, you just want a zip file containing all the old wheel models inside of components/prop/

Thanks.
I think I'll download and install 2.3.9 instead...
Modding sounds kinda too overwhelming... :/

Sorry for double post, but:
How do I run it through the script?
I have downloaded all the old wheel .pie files (your were supposed to copy and paste them in a text document and change the file format to .pie, right?)
and I've put them in components/props and made a .wz (.zip) file
how do I run through the script? :s

Do you want a mod with all wheel pie files from 2.3.#.
If so you need to change the images to use tcmask player team colours to run it in 3.1.1.
I will look into it tomorrow if you can wait.
Only the wheel ones ok.

Yes, just the wheels.
And thank you. :)

Here you go, this should work.
Each one has been run through simplipie (thanks per) and I then changed the TYPE to 10200 as per http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/PIE_format

Here's a link to the FAQ if you're new to installing mods: http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/NewFAQ ... Iinstallit
